Privacy Policy

SnapMark ("the extension" and the web app at ext.zalize.com) is built to be privacy-first. The short version: your screenshots never leave your device, and we do not collect any personal data.

Screenshots and images

All captures, pasted images, and uploaded images are processed entirely locally in your browser. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server. Closing the tab discards them unless you explicitly download or copy the result yourself.

What we collect

We keep anonymous, aggregate usage counters (for example: how many times a capture or download happened in total per day). These counters contain no images, no page content, no URLs, no IP address storage, no identifiers, and no cookies. They cannot be linked to any person or device.

What we do NOT collect

• No accounts, sign-ups, or email addresses
• No screenshots or image data
• No browsing history or page contents
• No cookies, fingerprinting, or advertising identifiers
• No sale or sharing of data with third parties

Extension permissions

The browser extension requests only activeTab (to capture the tab you explicitly click the toolbar icon on) and storage (to remember your tool preferences locally). It has no host permissions and cannot read pages in the background.
